2. Don’t mess around with living people
In the evening, Guo Xidong appeared in Huaishu Lane in the east of the city. Half an hour ago, he recharged his phone for dozens of yuan, then called Wan San and lied that he was a friend of Wan Sini many years ago and wanted to meet her. Wan San's voice sounded hoarse, and he thanked her and told her his current address.
The two sides of Huaishu Lane were filled with old, shabby houses of different heights, and the lane was so dirty that it was hard to walk. Guo Xidong was hesitating whether to go in when he suddenly heard a bad voice: "I warn you, don't play tricks or do evil things in the future. You are too young to cheat me out of my money!"
Before the shouting ended, a young woman with an angry face walked out of a nearby dilapidated bungalow. Behind her, two burly young men followed. When they passed by, the young woman stopped and asked coldly, "Are you Wan San's accomplice?"
"I'm not." Guo Xidong shook his head repeatedly, "You… were also fooled by the QR code?"
This young woman was indeed fooled by the QR code. A “haha” popped up, and hundreds of yuan of phone bills disappeared. Going to the cemetery to pay tribute to the deceased, she was already in a bad mood, and then she was teased. How could she swallow this humiliation? Like Guo Xidong, she asked the administrator for Wan San’s address and rushed to his house to ask for an explanation. Fortunately, Wan San was sensible, nodded and bowed, and obediently returned all the phone bills.
It seems that the liar is afraid of the bad guys, so I have to play hard to him. Thinking in his heart, Guo Xidong straightened his back and strode into the dilapidated courtyard: "Wan San, I'm here to see your sister!"
"Who are you? Oh, you're the gentleman who called me just now, Si Ni's good friend." A thin man who looked to be about thirty years old limped out, "I'm his brother, Wan San. I forgot to tell you on the phone, Si Ni, she–"
"She's dead, right?" Guo Xidong interrupted, took out his phone and replied sarcastically, "What's going on? Don't tell me that she transferred my phone bill."
Wan San looked Guo Xidong up and down, as if talking to himself: "Si Ni, Si Ni, I advised you not to mess around with living people, but you didn't listen. Look, trouble is coming again." Guo Xidong couldn't help but feel a little nervous when he heard it: "Hey, don't use the dead as a shield, I don't believe in evil!"
"At first, I didn't believe it. But there are some things that you really have to believe in." Wan San waved his hand, motioning Guo Xidong to come into the house.
The room was not big and the light was a little dim, but the furnishings inside could be seen clearly. Wan San sat down at the table and opened his laptop: "Excuse me, what's your name?"
"What? Do I need to register to collect debts?" Guo Xidong asked. Wan San sighed and said, "Since I carved that QR code, people come to collect debts almost every day. I'm stupid, and if I don't register, how can I remember which ones have been paid and which ones have not. What's your phone number?"
While reporting the number, Guo Xidong was surprised to find that the document displayed on the computer screen was filled with mobile phone numbers, with only a few marked "closed" and most of them were blank. From this, it can be inferred that Wan San used his dead sister and the curiosity of the deceived to make a lot of money! Guo Xidong suddenly got angry and snorted: "Wan San, do you know what you are doing? What you are doing is fraud and crime, and you will be punished sooner or later!"
Wan San's answer was insane: "Si Ni came up with this idea to pay off her debts. She just wanted to leave with peace of mind after being debt-free."
3. Punishment of the Evildoers
Taking money from Peter to pay Paul, cheating money to pay off debts and seek peace of mind, what kind of bullshit logic is this? Even if most of the victims think they are unlucky and don't come to ask for money, you have filled the debt hole, but can you close your eyes when you hear people cursing and "greeting" you every day? Before Guo Xidong started training, Wan San had already talked about his sister Wan Sini – last year, Wan Sini dropped out of school when she just turned 18 and went to the city to work. Her academic performance is very good, and it is not a problem for her to be admitted to a prestigious university, but her mother is seriously ill, and Wan San has suffered from polio, so her legs and feet are not smooth, and the whole family depends on her to take care of and manage. Unexpectedly, within half a year of working, she met a villain and was forced to jump off the building. Hearing the bad news, Wan San helped his mother to rush to the hospital, and at least met Wan Sini. Wan Sini said that in order to treat her mother, she borrowed money from several sisters. They are all working girls, and their families are not well off, so this debt must be repaid. But how can she repay it when the family is penniless? Wan San was in trouble.
"So you used a crude trick like a virus in a QR code to deceive people?" Guo Xidong continued. Wan San said: "No, the method that Si Ni came up with is very clever–"
"What a clever bullshit, you're only getting scolded for harming others for your own benefit." Guo Xidong said unhappily. Wan San asked, "But if I don't do this, what do you think I should do?"
"Use your brain, there are plenty of ways." Guo Xidong counted on his fingers, "First, go find your sister's manager. He has the responsibility to take care of what happened at his place." Wan San's eyes were filled with hatred: "I went to find him, but he only paid Si Ni's salary. The second time I went, the security guard wouldn't let me in and beat me up."
Guo Xidong lowered his middle finger and said, "Second, go find the police and ask them to catch the murderer." Wan San said, "I did too. The police said that the bastard ran away and is being wanted. They told me not to worry and just wait."
"Third, find a reporter to build momentum. Fourth, mobilize the power of netizens to find out who that bastard is."
"I tried everything. In the end, I was arrested for making unreasonable complaints and disturbing public order." Wan San gnashed his teeth in hatred. Guo Xidong also became excited and his voice suddenly increased: "There is another way, catch the murderer yourself!"
Wan San stood up and staggered towards the small room next to him. "To be honest, I have tried all these methods, but they don't work. Sometimes I wonder, even if I catch the murderer, what can I do to him?"
Unfortunately, Wan Sini fell and was covered in blood. It was a horrible sight. Her mother was so heartbroken that she fainted. On the night when Wan Sini died of her injuries, her mother also passed away. Those were two lives, and the murderer must not be let off easily. "If it were me, I would peel off his skin and pull out his tendons , and then throw him into a frying pan until he was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!" Before following Wan San into the clean and tidy little room, which was Wan Sini's bedroom, Guo Xidong spoke out his plan to punish the murderer. As soon as he said this, he trembled all over as if he had been electrocuted, and froze.
There was a photo hanging on the wall. The girl in the photo was pretty and looked like someone I had seen before somewhere.
Yes, it was at Hongyuan Hotel, she was Feng Xiu, a waitress there! Just a moment of shock, was the ghost call real? Guo Xidong immediately picked up a wooden stool as fast as he could and smashed it hard on the back of Wan San's head.
"Bang", with a muffled sound, it was Guo Xidong who staggered and fell down.
4. Sleep in Peace
What hit Guo Xidong was a piece of beam as thick as a bowl. Guo Xidong was the murderer who killed Wan San's sister Wan Sini. Wan Sini was a pseudonym. Her real name was Feng Xiu, and Wan San's name was Feng Qiang. That night, Guo Xidong was drunk and wanted to molest Feng Xiu. Feng Xiu was so ashamed and angry that she desperately ran to the window: Get out of here, if you dare to touch me again, I will jump down. Guo Xidong was drunk and bold, and he went over like a hungry wolf. Feng Xiu made up her mind and jumped out. Seeing the tragedy unfold, Guo Xidong sobered up and fled in a hurry. He would never have thought that in order to seek justice for his sister, Feng Qiang dragged his crippled legs to beg people everywhere, petitioned, squatted outside the Guo family day and night, and suffered hardships that ordinary people could hardly imagine. After all his efforts came to nothing, he found out that Guo Xidong was very curious, so he erected a tombstone for his sister next to Guo Xidong's father's tomb, engraved a QR code for charging fees, and hoped that the murderer would come to him in his lifetime. The beam that suddenly fell down was just a small mechanism.
During this period, several victims who were curious came to him. Feng Qiang refunded them in full and begged them for help. Perhaps hard work pays off, or perhaps good and evil always have their dues. After nearly a year of waiting, Guo Xidong really fell into the trap. When Guo Xidong woke up, he had a pair of shiny "silver bracelets" on his hands, and two policemen stood beside him.
Later, Feng Xiu's tombstone was replaced with a QR code. When you scan it, a line of words pops up: "I can finally have a good sleep——"
